What Atlas Renovate actually does with your stuff

1. We create an anonymous ID when you continue

On first use we create an anonymous Google/Firebase user ID in the background. The app shows it as Me.{id} (a short piece of that ID). This happens so your projects stay attached to you. It is not a hidden extra account, and it is not a real Gmail until you attach one.

2. Photos and project data go to Google Firebase — not only this device

When you publish, your photos, after-shots, and project details (title, costs, notes, and the like) are stored on Firebase (Google) so they can be opened from a share link. They are not only on this phone or computer. This browser may keep a copy as a cache.

3. Generating an after image sends your photo to Google Gemini

If you use Generate after shot, we send the before photo and your written brief to the Nano Banana / Gemini image API (Google). That is separate from storing the finished project.

4. A share link lets someone else view that project

A share link is meant to be opened by another person. They keep their own identity (Me.{their id}). Your project shows up for them as Bro.{your id}. They can look at that project. They do not become you, and they do not get to pretend they own your files.

5. You can attach a real Gmail later

If you choose Sign in with Google, we link that Gmail to the same anonymous ID so you keep Me.{id} and the projects already tied to it. We do not create a second identity on purpose.

6. How to stop, and where the data lives

You can stop using Atlas Renovate anytime by leaving the site. Clearing this site’s data in your browser forgets the local cache and the anonymous session on this device. It does not automatically erase copies already stored on Google Firebase. To remove a project you posted, open it while you are Me.{id} and use Delete. Data on Firebase stays there until it is deleted. We do not sell your data, and we do not hand it to unnamed “partners.” The companies that actually receive it are Google (Firebase for identity, photos, and project records; Gemini if you generate an after shot).
